Zen Jardin Tequila Sour

Tea was one of the first ingredients used to make cocktails, which was originally served as punch. It was used to impart flavor and add complexity – which is the same reason we use tea in cocktails today. Our Zen Jardin Infusion blend is inspired by traditional tea blends, but ours combines green tea, chamomile flowers, cherry bark, jasmine flowers and cardamom, flavors that pair gorgeously with an herbaceous Blanco Tequila. The result is a lovely infusion that is fresh, floral, with a touch of vanilla and spice.

We love this infusion in a Zen Jardin Tequila Sour – a cocktail that plays up the vegetal notes of Blanco tequila and pairs it with celery bitters and just a pinch of celery salt to make all the flavors pop. Garnish with a thin ribbon of celery inside the glass – it will subtly infuse even more vegetal flavor as you drink the cocktail.

Cheers!
