Ethan+Ashe was forged out of a passion for great spirits, fine cigars, perfect coffee, artisanal food and a lust for life shared with good friends. Founded by Jason Carignan and based in Southern California, Ethan+Ashe is a passionate team of designers, creators, independent thinkers and foodies dedicated to bringing new home and bar tools to life.

Jason Carignan

Jason is a seasoned marketing executive and accomplished serial-entrepreneur. He directed product-innovation projects for highly recognizable brands during his time leading Tonic, a Los Angeles-based brand consultancy, and successfully founded several startups including Vapur (www.vapur.us) and Nuvino (www.nuvino.com). Jason is currently a CMO in the premium cigar industry and is on a quest to sample every whiskey on the planet (paired with a cigar of course).

David Graham

David Graham

David is a thought-leading strategist with a broad background in business and technology. He joined Jason at Tonic in 2008, bringing an innovative approach and entrepreneurial spirit to the branding craft. He has since partnered with Jason on many ventures, resulting in market-changing ideas and products. Always up for adventure both in the office and out, weekends will usually find David in the saddle of a dirt bike, rock-climbing local crags, or out enjoying the backcountry with his friends and family of six.

Rachel McKnett

Rachel McKnett

Rachel McKnett has been active in the advertising and marketing industry for over 15 years. While at DDB Los Angeles, she worked on award-winning campaigns with clients like Epson America, Inc. and Wells Fargo, before bringing her knack for management, strategic thinking and copywriting to the consumer goods industry. One who constantly feels the draw of both the big city and a tropical beach, Rachel has a passion for travel, interesting books, clever ideas, and enjoys a good lemon drop martini.

Karl Steuck

Karl Steuck

A hospitality industry veteran for over 15 years, Karl has consulted for some of LA’s top restaurants, brands, and private clients. Currently he is the Director of Business Development for a start-up distillery, loft & bear, and owner of Spirit & Spoon, where he visually works his palatable magic. When not behind a camera or making libations, Karl enjoys farmers markets, yoga, meditation, nature, unexpected adventures, and all things food.
